The Man Behind the Music

Gary started with music while still 8th grade and then moved on to high school. He joined the high school band and learned percussion as well as tuba, but he preferred singing versus playing any instruments. So, also during his freshman year of high school he also joined the choir. The choir teacher found Gary an easy learner and offered to give him voice lessons to refine his vocals. After performing in several school musicals with success he graduated from school. In 1969 he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. While in boot camp at Parris Island his vocal abilities came to the attention of the drill instructors. In the evenings when it was time for "lights out', Gary was often asked to sing the Marine Corps Hymn. After his final discharge from the Marine Corps in 1976, he spent a lot of his evenings going to local venues that offered karaoke and often received strong applause from the others in attendance. While he enjoyed singing karaoke he also found a desire to offer his services as a KJ. Eventually, after obtaining the equipment and sufficient CDs to do so, he began doing karaoke locally regularly.
Unfortunately, in 2008 Gary was involved in an severe auto accident that left him with a disability that over the years got worse and prevented him from providing karaoke hosting services. But, with his love of karaoke, and the knowledge to create songs, he began creating karaoke songs. In the beginning he had only made a few songs. And now he has created more than 12,000 songs. Many of these songs were created at the request of fellow karaoke enthusiasts.
If you are interested in having a custom song made, Gary can create it for you in a matter of 90 minutes or less. If you just heard a brand new song on the radio or Youtube let him know the artist and song title. Most songs can be made the same day, however, songs that do not have lyrics available can take much longer. For more information in having songs made go to this link: CLICK HERE
