WHy I Started Making Karaoke Songs

Every day when I was KJ doing a show I had singers come up to me and ask for song. When I found I didn't have it I wrote the title and artist's name down.
When I got home I'd check on a website I belong to that has over 5,000 KJ's connectd from all over the world thinking I'd find the song. But, I rarely,
if ever, found the song. Then a friend of mine on that KJ site told me how he makes songs. After getting the software to do that I trained myself in making songs
that people had asked for. After a lot of trial and error I finally got the knack of doing it.
So, now here I am years later and I have created more than 12,000 songs. Each song take about 60-90 minutes to make. Follow the links below to understand the process.
How I Create Custom Karaoke Songs Process
When a customer either calls me or emails me a request to make a song I first do a searrch for the song in my collection of over 770,000 songs. If it is not in my collection
I first check my on-line karaoke source and if no one has the song I then do a search for it on YouTube
or the website where they found the song. I also make sure that the lyrics for each song requested are available.
Going to a website where the requested song is available, I begin to play the song while I use a computer program to record the song. Many ask, isn't that pirating? No, it is not. If it is openly available on the internet, then it is available for public use. Once I have the song recorded, I then edit out any and all opening or closing sounds that are not part of the song. I then decide whether or not the song needs any re-editting to enhance or reduce the sounds and amkke those adjustments. I then save the song in a folder under my customer's name.
When I begin to process a song I have to first make the opening title pages for all three version of the song: vocals, karaoke, and multi-plex. I then download the lyrics either from a Google Search or in YouTube when the lyrics are available. Using special software I then seperate the song into three files: full song, lead vocals only, and instrumentals with or without back-up singers (when available). While listening to the vocals at 1/2 speed I can then, and often do, correct the lyrics I found on-line.
Once I have all the prerequisites completed I then start to create the new song using a karaoke song creator program. Using special software I play the song at 1/2 speed and as the song plays I then sync the lyrics of the song. After I have completed the song I then play it back at normal speed to ensure that the lyrics highlight at the same time as the words are sung. Some words are sung short while some are held much longer. Using certain keys I can control the length of every word. After the song is completed I then play the song back at full speed to ensure all words are synced properly as well as any instrumental breaks. After completing and titling the song I then create the karaoke and multi-plex versions, using the same methods.
